Looking up the official end of the COVID-19 pandemic as May of this year is trippy. I occasionally wear my face covering when shopping or indoors when in crowded spaces. All-in-all, I want to continue to appreciate relative good health and the chance to be outside in Hawaii!
Right here, I had come up in the late afternoon. A man was running his video camera on a tripod, maybe for time-lapse. I looked up into the monitor to see his range then dipped to the left of his set up. The wind picked up and I could here laughter above as people were surprised by the strong push from the Windward expanse, running up and over us all.
The sky was overcast and then to my right, I saw a break of sunshine hitting above the Pali Tunnels' mountain side. I looked up and to my left, following the beam of light that broke through the grey clouds.
I like when I remember to just be in the moment. I often think about the documentary, "The September Issue", which featured Vogue magazine Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour and Creative Director Grace Coddington. The beautiful clothing, the models, the locations were all so wonderful and the stories behind each person interviewed was wonderful...hahaha wonder, wonderment, and wonderful are all the theme today....
