My friend and I planned to go bowling on Saturday.
By that I mean I suggested we get out of our respective routines and maybe go bowling. It would be an activity where we'd need to change our footwear - always a signal of movement to me.
There are maybe three bowling alleys open to the public on Oahu. Aiea Bowl, Lucky Strike in Ala Moana Center, and Leeward Bowl continue to feed that bowling jones for civilians while the military installations have their own bowling facilities for active military, dependents, and sponsored guests.
We did a ten minute stop for a Moving Sale on the way. I bought matchbook covers and the rack they were displayed on for two dollars. I'll be scanning them later this week. Back on the road and to the quiet neighborhood of Waimanalo.
Breezy late morning with lots of cloud coverage. It was one of those days where you sunburn because the air around you cools your skin even with the sun out. The day didn't get too hot and if you're not in the shade, you just get a bit cooked! Thankfully, there were shady trees and I kept moving my chair when the sun beamed a bit brighter through the branches bouncing in the wind.
